Bright, Colourfull wedding flowers.

Wedding flowers

Looking for a bright and colourfull display of flowers.

Here’s an example of a bridal bouquet where the bride liked a bright and colourful display of flowers for her bouquets, buttonholes and corsages.

For this wedding we used the red Gerbera and blue Iris as main flowers. Further we used some blue Agapanthus flowers, blue Campanula Glomerata, white Freesia’s and soft Asparagus fern.

At Lamber de Bie Flowers in Waterford & Kilkenny we love when a Bride to Be comes into our flowershop and like to try something different.

Congratulations to Lindsay & Kenny !!

As the main flower for all her wedding day the bride choose the Hydrangea. A perfect choice as her wedding in August was right in the season for Hydrangea’s.

She went for the pure white Hydrangea and the “Rodeo Classic” red Hydrangea that perfectly matched the colour of her brides maids dresses.

In the bridal bouquet we used both the white and red Hydrangea flowers as well as delicately scented white Freesia flowers, white Astrantia with some white dubble flower Lisyanthus (Eustoma) flowers. Finished with a soft white satin ribbon.

For the Brides maids we kept it to all white flowers. Again using the stunning pure white Hydrangea with freesia and Astrantia flowers.

In Corbally Church in the beautiful town of Tramore in County Waterford the Hydrangea once again was the main flower used. This stunning church is a favorite of the florists at Lamber de Bie Flowers as it is a stunning Church that lends itself very well to be decorated for a wedding. With only a 15 minutues drive from Waterford City placed on the stunning Coastline of Waterford it is a choice for many brides for their wedding.

From the Church it was less than 30 minutes drive to the reception in Faithlegg House Hotel. Their stunning and bright Wedding Room was decorated with bird cage candle holders and more of the magnificent Hydrangea flowers.
